mlr 2.27, using two loops with highly shuffled rhythm and combined 1/16 note quantization, directed by two finger bounce technique.
Performed on a monome 128 running mlr. The samples were from this sketch I made a while back, which I modified to align some jazzy stabs with heavy kicks and precisely-positioned hi-hat bits, for maximum-improvisational bounce effect. This sets the foundation for the two-finger stab technique, demonstrated below:
Done with mlr 2.27, using a drum loop I made in Ableton Live and synth samples recorded live from a synthesizer. Experimented with pattern sequencing.
